Early in her tenure as part of the Teen Titans, she quickly formed a romantic relationship with Dick Grayson, then known as Robin, the leader of the team. In order to make her identity more in keeping with that of the human race, she assumed the pseudonym “Kory Anders”.

Koriand’r chose to remain with the team, taking on the name “Starfire”. Koriand’r escaped and eventually found her way to Earth, where she gained the assistance of the Teen Titans. While everyone was distracted, Koriand’r broke free, using her newfound powers, which she would also use to rescue her sister, who would immediately overpower Koriand’r and arrange for her execution. During the proceedure, Tamaranean forces loyal to Komand’r came to her rescue. Koriand’r’s father, King Myand’r, turned his own daughter over to the citadel, where she would endure six years of torture and sexual abuse until both she and Komand’r were turned over to the sadistic scientists known as the Psions, who would experiment on the two sisters, to test how much energy their bodies were capable of safely absorbing. Using Komand’r’s insight, the Citadel invaded Tamaran.

When both sisters were sent to train with the legendary Warriors of Okaara, the bitter Komand’r ran off and allied herself with the fascistic interplanetary empire known as the Citadel. Her sister, Komand’r was first in line to succession, but owing to an illness that stripped her of her natural ability to convert ultraviolet light into flight energy, she was deemed unfit to rule, and so the title of Queen would fall to Koriand’r.

Review Code Provided by LEX PR Rating Overall: 8.Koriand’r was the second of three children. Starfire is yet another fine addition to the roster and really brightens up the selection of characters available. It depends on what type of fighter you are, for her it's less about direct conflict and getting in medium range strikes when it's possible. I enjoyed the style of fighting she presented for Injustice 2, but then again that might not be for everyone. She's got a certain badass vibe to her while blasting away enemies and was very interesting to look at with all the various particle effects she emits. This version of Starfire was awesome and felt very unhinged while still keeping those core values true. I was particularly impressed with the movement of throwing enemies and beaming them while they went down, it looked really cool. She's also got a great beam ability that charges quickly with some interesting combo moves. There's a nice soft spot that also helps to prevent hits from those that need close contact for striking. It's all about keeping a proper sense of space as to hit them since attacks come in a medium space and never getting too close. This creates an interesting balance of keeping your distance since an opponent could potentially just whale away on her. The character is less based on actual contact for attacks and more about blasting foes from a distance.

She still carries the feeling of being a part of the team, but lonely now having lost everyone one way or another in this dark storyline. Here we have someone that unleashes powerful rays and is basically just savage. I wasn't ever sure I'd see this character again after watching the cartoon so many years ago. Injustice 2 continues to grow its roster with the addition of the Teen Titan's Starfire. Injustice 2: Starfire Review "Bringing a Star" Campaign
